Facebook launch a Recommendations Bar for users
News on Facebook Marketing, according to Brafton News, to help users find content which are shared and Liked by friends on the social network, Facebook has launched out a Recommendations Bar. This will help curate content on the site that is relevant where users may not have noticed.
When a relevant content is Liked by a user, friends will be able to see it through his news feed. The Recommendations Bar functions like the news feed except that it has a particular column for Liked content. Users can find the links more easily by organizing this information, in a site where a lot of different information is posted.
An increase of up to three times as much engagement for content was observed by Facebook with their new page layout. Marketers who are adding shared website content on Facebook for their social marketing strategies can drive more traffic.
Brafton has recently reported that Facebook has launched new tools for marketers. To allow companies to effectively coordinate their product releases on the site, Facebook has integrated a Want button for business pages and Scheduled Posts.

Google’s Panda 3.9 to impact 1 percent of search results
News on Google Marketing, according to Brafton News, Google has rolled out Panda 3.9, a data refresh which is likely to impact about 1% of search results.
In the next couple of days, it is important for marketers to measure and monitor their organic search traffic volume. Insights on recovery and websites that will probably succeed in the post-Panda searchscape are offered in a link at Google’s blog post “building high-quality sites” for marketers who have been impacted.
The main takeaway from these guidelines is that marketers must spend in user experience and creating content that will engage their customers, Brafton noted. However, there are questions that marketers should ask themselves when evaluating site content;
Does the article offer original content or information, original research, original reporting, or original analysis?
Was the article edited well, or was it hurriedly produced?
Does the site have redundant articles, duplicate or overlapping on the same or similar topics with slightly different keyword variation?
Do readers of the site have genuine interests of the topic, or does the site generate content by attempting to guess what might rank well in search engines?
