What are your favorite tweets to follow for this week ?   From celebrities and world leaders to the unheard-of wise men in the Twittersphere, the feeds are abuzz with new tweets and old ones ‘favorited’ alike.   These tweets to follow go a long way in making someone’s day and send messages more than just the 140 characters can say for a lot of people.   Let’s look into authors this time and see what these masters of words can do with that character limit.

First off is Nobel Prize Winning author, journalist, and philosopher Gabriel Garcia Marquez.   His account run by his agents, the recently deceased novelist wrote heart-wrenching lines in dramatic prose – one of which happens to be:

“Habitas En Las Letras”

As simple as that line may be, reading his works would give you insight as so the power of that singular sentence.   A master of surreal mysticism, the reader is put into the front seat of an emotional ride.   The quote is loosely translated as “inhabited by the lyrics” which is in reference to a character’s reaction upon hearing a song.   Paulo Coelho won the Nobel Prize for Literature for his contributions to creative journalism and historic fiction.   His own mythology of a town deep in the mountains of Spain are read for both academic and entertainment purposes.   Credit goes to him for modern day classics such as One Hundred Years of Solitude and Love in the Time of Cholera.

Secondly, a rising celebrity in the world of literature is Japanese author Haruki Murakami.   Since his big debut more than five years ago, Haruki Murakami has become a celebrity in his hometown.   He does not let the fame get to his head however and the author has chosen to live a very humble and secluded lifestyle.   Another artist of scenery and powerful conversation, the author tweets:

“The people who never listen are the ones who don’t think.”

Known as a philosopher in his own right, Haruki Murakami has authored more than a dozen books and has grown to fame celebrating Japanese modern literature in the past seven years.   His works are sold all over the world and he is read by a wide age group of audiences, appealing to a taste of adventure and wanderlust.

Lastly, we would never make do without one of the most beloved modern day philosophers and spiritual author Paulo Coelho.

Either you get paid to live the dreams of someone else or you pay the price of your own dreams. #YouDecide

Known to have come from a very poor family, the author has faced literary ridicule and financial poverty before he came into spotlight with the Alchemist.   Since then, the author has been writing books for years that reach out to the spiritual awareness of young and old alike.   With subjects such as celebrity humility, love and lust, and self-enlightenment through suffering – he has become a modern day magician by being able to delve into the deepest feelings of his readers.
