B2B audience among most active users of Mobile Web

News on Social Marketing, according to Brafton.com, ComScore released its monthly study of the American smartphone market and found that Google’s Android serves over half of all users. This is a rise of 2.2% point from March, while Apple has soared to 31%.

According to ComScore, BlackBerry continues to fall at 11.6% of the market with its manufacturer, Research in Motion, dropping 3.6% points. Android-powered smartphones and iPhones are entirely having almost all new activations.

Study shows that thirty-six percent of smartphone users turned to Facebook, Twitter or another social network, representing a 0.3 percentage point increase from the previous month. And almost half uses the mobile web to search the internet and perform other tasks.

It is important to consider mobile users in marketing schemes since more users turn to their devices to interact with brands.

On a survey from Oracle, almost a quarter of respondents said that the mobile web is very important in connecting with the B2B audience. And as Brafton recently reported, B2B customers are among the most active users of the mobile web to research buying decisions.
