Google Panda 3.8 have less impact on SEO Campaigns

News on Social Marketing, according to Brafton News, a minor Panda update was announced by Google on Monday through its official Twitter account. Though Panda 3.8 seems to have a small impact on SEO campaigns and overall search rankings, development of high-quality website content should be the focus of marketers to engage their audiences and increase their Google search visibility.

A link to a Webmaster Central blog post a year ago was included on its Tweet where quality content and a series of practices and guidelines for marketers were discussed in creating a site.

To increase the rankings of higher-quality content, marketers should improve their individual pages into more useful pages and transfer low quality pages to another domain.

To drive traffic and improve a brand’s visibility on the web, businesses should develop trust with readers by having quality editorial standards, using competent content writers and avoiding duplicate content.

In 2012, 87% of marketers will be investing in website content as content marketing is increasingly becoming very aggressive, Brafton reported.
