At the moment, we are announcing our involvement with Flickr and other communities to make it less difficult to pin and credit content creators. Pin It button is now available on Flickr for images where sharing is enabled, and a clear attribution statement on Pinterest.is now present on pins from Flickr.

Pinterest button is located in the Flickr share menu to easily pin shared things through Flickr, like photo pages, favorites and groups. Pin it button displays directly on the photopage one of the two shortcuts if you pin frequently.

Attribution which provides a permanent link to the work, its author, and where they host their content can be found under the pin’s description. Photographers are confident that pins and repins of their work will credit and link back to them since attribution cannot be edited.

Since advancement for the sharing of content online is a simple and automatic attribution, so we further add attribution to pins directly from Flickr. Even if a pinned photo from a website or blog embedding a Flickr image, we will also retrieve attribution data from Flickr.
